As a male who always had the mindset that therapists weren’t necessary, I now must admit that amongst my biggest regrets was not starting therapy sooner. I have really grown to value my client-therapist relationship with Jamie Williams as one of the most important things in my life. She has never made me feel judged or embarrassed but has a great way of challenging you about decisions you’ve made or your certain ways of thinking if you need to be challenged on them.

I actually followed Jamie Williams to her new practice and I would follow her again if she ever went elsewhere. She has helped me become a better father, a better friend, a better person. I’m still a work in progress but my therapy has better equipped me with the resources I need to continue to better myself.

In addition the traditional therapy sessions, I highly recommend allowing Jamie to guide you through EMDR therapy sessions as well! It will invoke emotions you’ve forgotten or that you’ve suppressed but it’s not anything you can’t handle. It’s liberating honestly. You will want to spill your guts to her and that says a lot coming from someone like myself who is usually very guarded and calculated with what I say to others.

Therapy is a very personal journey and it’s absolutely nothing you should be afraid of or embarrassed about. Jamie has definitely helped me come to realize that. It’s 2021, we all need it. If you trust Jamie with your therapy, she WILL help you. Just buy into the process and have an open mind. The sooner you are able to do that, the more you will benefit from her sessions. If you’re afraid that she might talk about something that’s uncomfortable to you, I can promise you that she’s heard it all and she has never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed to talk about anything — even some very very personal stuff.

Long story short, if you are thinking about therapy, your search ends here and the healing can begin. Know that you are in great hands with Jamie Williams and I can promise it will be a decision you’ll never regret.

Jamie is so knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy, and validating. She goes above and beyond to communicate with her clients. I cannot say enough good things about her. This is not my first time in counseling, but this is my first great experience. Jamie offers actual solutions to problems instead of just listening to you talk for an hour. I recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist/new therapist!

I have been in therapy for 10 years. I have never had a therapist as good, wise, warm, prepared, competent, and safe as Jamie Williams is. She does not push an agenda, but she also doesn’t just leave 50 minutes for me to talk without offering insight, circling back to it, and/or connecting it to broader themes. She is hands-down the best therapist I have ever had and I have no reservations in commending her to you, dear reader.
