Hello there! It takes tremendous courage and strength to make a step towards change, but you made it. I applaud and admire the bravery.
My clinical experience includes working with people in different walks of life from early childhood to elderly seniors all carrying a wide range of struggles including anger, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, adjustment, and various forms of trauma. One thing I have gathered, professionally and personally, is that we are all battling countless adversities in life.
Therapy is a collaborative effort and certainly not a one-size fit all. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, some of which are Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I believe you hold within yourself the insight and ability to overcome the barriers in your life. Allow me to walk alongside you and be your safe space as you go through this journey. Together we will learn to understand your individual thoughts and emotional patterns as we navigate and process through your life, your experiences, and, most importantly, you. It may get uncomfortable; It may get challenging. In the end, it can be remarkably empowering.
