Staci creates a comfortable environment of understanding and acceptance. When working with individuals and couples, she uses a down to Earth and practical approach to addressing life’s hurdles. She has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship or work issues, and the daily stress of life. Staci has also worked with at-risk children and teenagers. Her goal is to address trauma and stress throughout the lifespan. Encouraging and empowering clients to achieve their goals and enjoy life to the fullest.
Staci graduated with honors from Lamar University with her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, in December 2019. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Management with dual minors in Advertising and Biology. Staci has utilized her educational and work experience to consult in the corporate and medical fields. As a business owner and consultant, she handled crisis management and specialized in interpersonal relationship building and conflict resolution. This experience adds to Staci’s counseling education to create a unique perspective to improving healthy communication for individuals, couples, and within family.
As a practicum student, Staci worked with at-risk children and teenagers in a residential treatment center. In group and individual counseling, she addressed trauma, behavioral issues, grief, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. To address the unique needs of each client, Staci utilized a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Staci is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota international honor society, Association of Play Therapy, Texas Counseling Association, and American Counseling Association.
