Madeleine Vaughters LPC-A

Madeleine graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Health and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She later attained her Master in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Madeleine’s clinical training includes various theoretical techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-focused Counseling. She has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression and substance use and has worked with clients of all ages.

Madeleine believes that therapy is a safe space for growth and development, and to challenge negativity. Therapy is deeply personal, and should be tailored to meet the client’s individual needs. Madeleine strives to meet her clients where they are in their lives, and to assist them in navigating towards positive development and attainment of the client’s personal goals. She is trained in Mental Health First Aid , safeTALK (suicide prevention and awareness training) and Co-Occurring Psychiatric Substance Use Disorders (COPSD)

In her spare time, Madeline enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, baking, and watching movies.
