Yanira Uresti is a Licensed Professional Counselor -Associate who has worked in schools and non-profit centers. She worked closely with students, parents, young professionals, and adults of all ages suffering from adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, and those experiencing loss or relationship issues. She thrives on threatening clients with respect while providing a safe, healthy, and honest counselor/client relationship to help facilitate empowerment and growth. Yanira aims to develop a collaborative relationship where each client feels empowered to act as an expert in developing effective coping skills, managing anxiety, depression, navigating difficult life transitions, and enhancing communication skills and relationships. The therapeutic process looks different for each individual; therefore, she prioritizes finding a unique, individualized, and holistic approach for each client. Yanira uses various techniques such as Adlerian, Gestalt, Existential, and Narrative, to name a few.

Yanira graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She holds a license in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate #87639.
