About Emily Stuart-LPC Associate

Supervised by Jamie Williams LPC-Supervisor

Welcome to Prosperity! I understand that the counseling process may seem overwhelming or scary, but it can also be incredibly rewarding! I believe there is great power in being understood by another person, which is why my goal is to create a safe space where you feel seen and heard and can be yourself without judgment. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults of all backgrounds, especially women with ADHD and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, executive dysfunction, ADHD, career-related challenges, and relationship struggles.
In the first few sessions, I will take the time to get to know you, your needs, and your goals for therapy. I use an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, using evidence-based techniques to ensure that your counseling journey is collaborative, creative, and unique to you.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in Psychology and Music from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the professional honor society for counselors. In my personal life, I am a wife to a fantastic husband and partner and mama to several rescue fur-babies.
