About Steven Moss LPC Associate

Supervised by Jamie Williams LPC-Supervisor

Hi, I'm Steven Moss LPC Associate supervised by Jamie Williams LPC-S. I know firsthand the challenges of navigating problematic experiences surrounding identity, relationships, thoughts, emotions, desires, memories, and decisions. With a warm demeanor and ability to hold a safe space for diversity, I embrace a therapeutic process valuing each client’s autonomy. I respect the power of individual and collective stories while believing in the ability to create new, desired ones.

I enjoy working with those who are open-minded, self-motivated, reflective, and willing to sit with discomfort. I have worked with clients who want to explore an array of concerns including: anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, loss, relationships, identity, careers, and trauma. I also warmly welcome any clients who are fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community or members of any race, ethnicity, or culture.

My therapeutic approach combines Narrative, Jungian Analysis, Queer Theory, Gottman methodology (for monogamous or non-monogamous relationships), and trauma-focused counseling called "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing" (EMDR).

As we move through this vulnerable and human process, of which I am honored to be involved, you will hopefully begin to feel greater harmony within yourself and the world around you and a heightened sense of empowerment to create whatever life stories you want for yourself.
