Supervised by Jamie Williams, LPC-S
I’m Krysta Williams, LPC Associate. My approach to counseling is centered around warmth, compassion, and building strong therapeutic relationships. I believe in tailoring empirically based methods to meet the unique needs of each individual client, and I enjoy empowering clients to find the capacity for change and growth within themselves.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, followed by a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of assisting clients from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of life struggles, including anxiety, parenting issues, trauma, domestic violence, and relationship challenges.
I offer EMDR therapy, which can be helpful for a wide range of concerns beyond trauma, including anxiety, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I also have an interest in the Enneagram as a tool for those who enjoy exploring self-awareness and personal growth. One aspect of counseling that I find particularly rewarding is helping clients integrate their Christian faith into the therapeutic process in a nonjudgmental and compassionate manner. I believe that our past experiences shape our present lives, influencing our adult relationships and daily interactions. Therefore, I take a holistic approach, examining every aspect of life during our time together.
Outside of the therapy office, I am a wife and mother of three children. As a family, we enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and being involved in our church community.
I understand that taking the step to seek counseling can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and discover their strengths. It’s a privilege to walk alongside each individual on their path toward healing, growth, and greater emotional well-being. Together, we’ll work toward lasting change that helps you thrive both personally and relationally.
